• It is a rewarding experience to help the animals in need without committing to a full-time animal companion. By offering your home, live and time you are helping a shelter animal prepare for adoption and freeing up a kennel for another animal in need and preventing overcrowding in the shelter
• Fosters must be over 18 years of age, landlord approval is required for renters, fosters must go through orientation training prior to taking a foster home
• Fosters are provided with basic training, all needed animal care supplies and contacts for help if there are questions or concerns and medical help.
• How it works: Once you are a certified foster, when an animal comes in that requires a foster home, we will send out a mass email to our foster homes and if you can take the animal on you can contact us to arrange pickup of the animal and supplies.
