Have You Lost Your Pet?
Our fur babies sometimes get sneaky and skip out the door when we don’t notice. As an owner it is your responsibility to go out and search for your pet, to regularly contact the PASPCA and check if your animal has been brought in, to report your pet missing with the PASPCA and regularly check the lost/found pages.
Below you will find the current strays that have come into the care of the Prince Albert SPCA. If your pet is posted, please contact the Prince Albert SPCA immediately.
Please note: NOT ALL STRAY PET PHOTOS ARE POSTED ON THIS SITE. The Prince Albert SPCA does not take responsibility for accuracy of information. Please contact the shelter at least every two days to look for your lost pet. The Prince Albert SPCA will do its best to help with your search, but as the owner, you are ultimately responsible to look for and identify your pet.
Animals are held at the SPCA for 5 days (including the day they come in) for owners to reclaim. If they have not been reclaimed by the end of the 5th day, they will be put up for adoption at the discretion of the SPCA.
These animals are NOT available for adoption at this time.
Reducing The Risk Of Losing Your Pet
Microchipping
We greatly encourage you to ensure your pets are all microchipped. A Microchip is a small implant that is imbedded just underneath the skin of your pet (usually placed around the shoulder blades). Microchips can be scanned at any vet clinic or animal shelter with a microchip scanner, which will help us immediately identify the animal and provide us with owner contact information.
Just ensure you keep your pet’s microchip information current and up to date.
The Prince Albert SPCA provides microchip services for $30 per microchip!

City Licence Tags
All felines and canines that live or will stay within the city for any extended period of time are legally required to be licensed through the city.
License fee prices are as follows:
- Puppies/Kittens Under 6 months of age AND Spayed/Neutered Adults: $25
- Dogs/Cats 6 months of age or older and NOT Spayed/Neutered: $75
City Licenses can be purchased at the Prince Albert SPCA, Paw Print Inn or City Hall
