Donations are vital to the well-being of the animals in our care.
We are a small “stand-alone” animal care centre that relies on donations and adoptions in order to keep operating.
We do not receive funding from the provincial or federal government.
Donations are used to provide veterinary services, food, toys, beds, blankets, cleaning supplies and operational costs.
See our Wish List to get an idea of things we need.
Many of our elementary schools are raising money for the shelter.
If you are unable to adopt but would like to help, any financial donation would be appreciated more than you can imagine! Any donation over $20.00 will be issued a tax receipt.
You can donate in many forms:
— Sponsor a kennel for $100/month
— Sponsor an animal for $25/month
— Donate your time
— Sponsor ads in the newspaper
— Corporate sponsor for newsletter
— Planned giving
The monthly donation, combined with others, gives the organization a steady income to continue our work in caring for all the pets in our care. We need your help to continue operating our new animal care facility that will be a safe and healthy environment for those in our care. If you have some great ideas for fundraising for the new facility, please contact Al Dyer at 306-763-6122.
A big THANK YOU to all the businesses and private contributors who have generously donated supplies, advertising and monetary donations. Due to these generous donations, the Animal Care Centre can continue to care for the unwanted and homeless pets that come into our care.
The Prince Albert SPCA Animal Care Center does not euthanize dogs, unless they are very aggressive or seriously ill. We believe that a home can be found for each one of them. This has been made possible by our dedicated volunteers and staff, loving foster families.
We gratefully acknowledge and appreciate memorial donations.
Your Donations are greatly appreciated.
